Unfortunately, a few minutes after this photo was taken, the rain came pouring down. The downpour, while it ruined our swimming pool fun, did produce the best conversational tidbit of the weekend between Norah and Grandma. Norah said forcefully, "Mama and I are going to fight that rain." Grandma stoically replied, "I think you and Mama lost." Norah did not like this -- not one bit.
While all of that was going on...
Kit started to put the shake shingles on the playhouse.
Bodhi relaxed in the yard, drank from the pool and generally stayed out of the kids' way!
On Saturday night, we celebrated Kit's cousin's graduation from high school with a cookout at the farm. The seven Condill cousins enjoyed hanging out together. They are finally at an age in which they can talk, make up stories and act them out. I love watching their blossoming relationships with one another.
No trip to the farm is complete without a golf cart ride or two!

It is so lovely to have all those cousins to play with. I am so envious that your children get to have that. Hope you are well.
ReplyDeleteOur kids do the same thing with our little pool. It's all about tossing water and transporting the water to dump on plants or send down the slide or just move from bucket to bucket. They hardly "swim" in their little pool at all!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see the play house coming to fruition. Looks like it will be very cool!
