Peace, love and the woods

 

This week's chilly temperatures and winter storms didn't keep us from our weekly sojourn into the woods with our friends. Kai particularly enjoyed making his own path through the snow to catch up with us.

When we weren't enjoying the sunny days and the snow outside, we spent some time sewing and knitting.

My friend, Kellie, knitted some of these cute pigs a couple of years back, and I've had the pattern in my knitting bag since then. Kai saw them again at another friend's home and wanted me to knit him some. So...for Valentine's Day this year a drove of pigs came to live at our house.
