Mardi Gras Fete 2010

This year's party was filled with wonderful friends (10 adults and 11 children),  amazing vegan food, a surprise birthday cake, and like last year...a sleeping child, although this year the child fell asleep at the end of the party instead of the beginning.  (And middle.  And end.  Which was impressive.)

The aforementioned sleeping child who slept right through his parents putting on his coat and boots (also impressive).

Kit says that it was loud and fun and there was chocolate fondue and the men stood around in the kitchen and talked about politics and the women sat in the dining room and talked about...well, actually he doesn't know what they talked about.  Also, thanks to the industrious activity of the many children, the entire collection of toys downstairs achieved a state of near-perfect entropy.  So, until next year:  laissez les bon temps roulez!
