Off My Needles -- The Girls' Solstice Sweaters & A Blanket for Puppy

Way back in November, I finished my Solstice presents for the kids. I gave the girls hand knit sweaters while Kai received a knitted blanket for his beloved stuffed puppy. While Kai's puppy has been enjoying his knitted blanket for months now, the sweaters lay around unfinished until late last night, when I finally got around to sewing on the buttons. Ridiculous.

The girls have enjoyed wearing their sweaters today, and I've enjoyed all the compliments about my knitting ability. The pattern is from Kelly Without a Net on Ravelry.com. It's a fabulous pattern and knits up like a dream. I want to make it again in a solid color so that the texture really pops.
