Norah Turns 3!

Norah loves cake, but more importantly, she LOVES the icing. Our little Miss lucked out by having two parties with two cakes in one day at her Nana and Pappy's farm. A few friends joined us in the morning to walk around the farm and enjoy the animals and pumpkins. The weather was so blustery and bone chilling cold that we opted for having snacks and cupcakes in the house rather than outside near the children's garden. Norah had a wonderful time eating cupcakes with all of her friends! And, all the kids loved running around in a big group through the mazes and amongst the pumpkins!

Aunt Gigi outdid herself yet again by making Norah's cake dream a reality. Norah adores elephants and hippos so she wanted them on her birthday cake. The added detail of the animal print tattoo from the Ace of Cakes line takes it to the next level. I think that Norah's favorite part though was devouring the fondant elephant; Norah gave Kai the fondant hippo to eat, which made his night!

Despite the blustery wind early in the day, we were able to have a bonfire later that evening. The cousins  enjoyed roasting hot dogs while the adults enjoyed spending time talking and relaxing together after a busy day.
