To the Beach...

We had some very minor adventures driving to the beach this year. Our first major stop -- Point Pleasant, West Virginia. In case you didn't know it (like we didn't), this city is home to Mothman! The kids enjoyed climbing around and on the sculpture. Unfortunately, we ate some really, really bad Mexican food in this town; it tasted terrible, but the staff was nice.

The next day, we had a morning/afternoon stop in Greensboro, NC where we ate some awesome vegan baked goods at the Simple Kneads Bakery and played at the Greensboro Children's Museum. The kids had a blast.

The kids had their first introduction to Ms. Pac-Man at the Green Bean.

Our final stop on the way to Oak Island, NC was in Florence, SC to see my cousin, Matt, which was the highlight of the drive down for me.
