Central Illinois Sledding Adventure


I've posted before about being fascinated with all the ways my husband and in-laws enjoyed the snow on hill-less landscapes. Well...I had a new experience last week with the kiddos on my in-laws 42nd anniversary (how cool is that -- 42 years!). As most of you know, Kit's family owns and operates The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur. Needless to say they have quite a fleet of golf carts.

Picture this...two golf carts with heavy chains attached to them pulling toboggans. Crazy, right?!? Well, the Condill cousins had a blast (and so did the adults). Not an accident or crying incident happened. I think the only slightly crazy experience occurred when my father-in-law and brother-in-law drove the golf carts into the two snowmen we had made! Boys will be boys!




Kit shot a great action video. You actually FEEL like you are on the sled driving around the gravel drive over to the bakery parking lot. Here it is...
