Sweet November...

November was an amazing month here in Central Illinois. Many days were warm. Many days were filled with beautiful sunlight, amazing foliage and wooded walks at Busey Woods. Kai and Norah LOVE Busey Woods. Norah enjoyed crunching leaves with her feet along the wooden walkway. Kai loved all of the sticks and finding the perfect log to perch on for a story. Both kids loved the way the fallen leaves looked in the water. The days were long. The walks were plentiful. We have stored up a lot of color for the bleak winter days that will arrive shortly.

November also brought a couple of trips to the Bloomington Children's Museum. Norah, who is currently recovering from cutting her 2-year molars and a cold, asked in the haze of illness the other morning if she could go paint and play with the horsies at the museum. If only she would have been well enough...

Norah cracks us up the way she will fall asleep all of a sudden while reading...still clutching the book!
